            Judge Tyson maintains a conservative judicial philosophy that protects individual freedoms, self-defense, private property, parental and rights of the unborn, and the separation of powers.

            A former two-term member and chair of the Moore County Board of Commissioners, Nick Picerno was appointed to a board seat in 2021 to replace Louis Gregory, who retired.
